The Havapoo, also known as a Poovanese, is not a naturally occurring species but a designer dog breed resulting from the crossbreeding of a Havanese and a Poodle. Both parent breeds have distinct origins: the Havanese is native to Cuba, and the Poodle is thought to have originated in Germany, with its development as a breed occurring in France.
